Ridge Light Opera (RLO), founded in 1995, is directed by William Corson.  It has produced numerous Opera and Musical Theatre highlight programs in the northern New Jersey area, including Amahl and the Night Visitors and September Song: An Evening of Light Opera and Musical Theatre.  Over the past seven years, this troupe has performed twenty-eight “mini” shows ranging from The Barber of Seville to Brigadoon as well as many of the old operettas of the 20th Century by composers such as Victor Herbert, Rudolf Friml and Sigmund Romberg.  With close ties to the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, RLO performs at least one Gilbert and Sullivan highlight section every year with professional guest artists.
